:iconsarah5122:
yeah, i do. Why? Is that a bad way to blend?
:iconbenaharry:
its like the worst thing you can do. its really bad.

to blend u can use tissue, q-tips, and something called a tortillion. not expensive at all.

also, i cant remember if i linked u to the video i made? that will help you make your portraits more structured.

K then.

Why is it the worst thing you can do to blend?

And what do you mean '...make your portraits more structured.'?
:iconbenaharry:
im sorry but your hair is so cool! its a mullet right?

anyway, right, basically your fingers have oils on them so when you touch the paper it transfers.

thats how i knew u did it because thats what can be seen. i wash my hands constantly while drawing but never touch it.

haha when my dad went to pic up my zac drawing i was like, "dont touch it!" my art are kept in plastic wallets and are made harder with card.

now i dont know if you want to be as anal as me but it pay off!

and about structure, well i noticed that Ben was a bit soft lookin. his features were not defined. the outline of his head it kind of blending with the background. [link]

also, i highly recommed Canson Bristol Paper. its like, the most incredible paper to blend on trust me.
